Archive
This archive spans nearly two decades of writing across medicine, systems work, learning, movement, recovery, outdoor life, and professional reinvention.
The earlier essays emerged during a different phase of medical practice and internet culture — a period shaped more by healthcare blogging, institutional questions, and the mechanics of professional life. Over time, the writing gradually became slower, more reflective, and increasingly concerned with continuity: how people adapt, recover, learn, and remain intellectually alive across long periods of work and change.
The archive is preserved chronologically because chronology itself carries meaning. The themes recur, but rarely in identical form. Questions introduced years earlier often return later with different language, different constraints, and different levels of understanding.
This is not a complete index of everything written. It is a preserved continuity.
